Basics
Sellers are responsible of the shipment, it means you have to prepare and ship the items to the buyer's adress.
For a safe, and trustful transport process,
YOU MUST SHIP TRACK & TRACE PARCELS/MAILS.
You must fill in the tracking number while confirming the shipment on your Dashboard.
Distroville do not charge any service fee on the shippings.

Shipping methods
On Distroville, the shipping fees are pre-defined and based on public Postal Services.
This system allows you to avoid having to calculate these fees at each availability confirmation of the order.
Sellers can choose between several options:

Standard Shipping. For a standard tracked parcel/mail/letter delivered to the buyer's adress.

Mondial Relay: Delivery in a relay point or at home. Cheap fares. Available in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Austria only.

Local Pick Up. If the buyer and the seller live in the same city and want to avoid shipping. Free service.

Free Shipping. Sellers do not charge buyers for shipping. For example, as a special discount.

Mondial Relay
Usually cheaper than public postal services, Mondial Relay is a good shipping alternative.
Delivery in a relay point available in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain
Delivery at home available in Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Austria.
The buyer select a relay point and tell the seller the adress through the internal Distroville messaging system.
The seller send the package by dropping it in the relay point.

Local Pickup
Sellers can choose the Local Pickup option.
If selected, buyers from your city can contact and agree with you on pickup details.
Obviously, it's a free shipping option, the buyer will only be charged for the item.s.
The payment must be made on the platform.
This option is based on both buyer and seller full responsability and friendliness.

You want to make a special discount to your buyers?
Select free shipping. The seller send the product but the buyer will pay for the item only.
Don't forget to disable all the other shipping methods!
Order & shipment confirmation
For each new order you will get an email notification. Confirm or decline the order on your dashboard.
Once confirmed, you commit to ship the order and the buyer will be charged.
Prepare your package, and ship it quickly.
Once the package shipped, thank you to quickly confirm the shipment (Dashboard>My Sales>Order and click on Ship the order), fill in the tracking number to ensure the buyer an optimal tracking of his order.
Packaging
We recommend to prepare strong packagings to avoid damage during transport.
We recommend to use as less plastic as you can and use recycled packagings.
Delivery
Your dear buyer is expecting delivery in 3 to 10 working days.
If you have any delay issues, you must inform the buyer through the internal messaging system. The latest legal delivery is 30 days. Keep in mind that sooner is always better.
You can ship through other transporters than the ones registered but you can't change the predifined shipping fee.
During the Covid 19 pandemic transporters may be affected.
